SembWaste firmly believes that schools play a major role in engaging our students to be the next generation of recyclers. We have therefore developed a school programme that aims to partner our educators to bring sustainability to your schools, and to actively involve the students when it comes to recycling.

SembWaste Green Recycling Mark
With the aim of recognising schools for their effort and commitment to recycling and sustainability, SembWaste has launched the Green Recycling Mark. Schools may qualify for the award by participating in the ezi Recycling Competition (details can be found in the previous section).

Interested in participating in our school programmes?
The programmes are open to all schools within the sectors whereby SembWaste is the prevailing licensee for public waste collection. The sectors that are able to enjoy this programme are Clementi-Bukit Merah and City-Punggol.
Our Go-Green School Programme 2022 has commenced! Keep a lookout for our 2023 programme in Q3/Q4 of this year.
