Due to Malaysia's recent border closure, Lahew will not be able to head home in the near-term to spend time with his family and finds joy keeping in touch with his children on WhatsApp at the end of each day. Nagesh, a compactor maintenance technician from Singapore, is on standby to support hotels and hospitals, ensuring their waste compactors run efficiently during this critical time.
Kudos to Lahew and Nagesh and the people working tirelessly behind the scenes to provide essential services as our nation continues its fight against COVID-19. Let's show our appreciation to these everyday superheroes, even if it's just through a simple "thank you" or a smile when you see them.
